28% of the UK have suffered from one or more Sleep Disorders.

It is a little known statistic that over 28% of the population of the uk have suffered from one or more sleep disorders.

These all have a similar effect with people over tired during the daytime and less efficent and productive because of this.

There are a large number of reasons why people need to get the correct amount of sleep, and as people get older the needs for sleep and the number of hours that are needed change.

Many parents of new born children suffer to adjust to the major change in their lives and fail to look after their health leading to chronic lack of sleep and fatigue.

Sleep Deprivation caused by sleep disorders is a real issue and can have both short and long term psychological effects.

It is of no suprise that for this reason it is used through history as a torture method in wars and conflicts.

Sleep for the human body is as important even possibly more so than water or food.

Without a regular top of of good sleep to allow the body to rebuild the human body simply begins to shut down and eventually stop working.

While alot of people that have sleep disorders feel that they achieve a minimal amount of sleep each night because their focus is on the time spent awake. Studies have found they do manage to get more sleep than first thought.
